The final day of testing in Barcelona was a quieter one. Valtteri Bottas comfortably topped the time sheets for Williams with a strong 1:23.063 on the super softs, with Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel 4/10ths behind for second place. Felipe Nasr had another strong run in the Sauber, coming in third with a 1:24.023 as he racked up a day high 159 laps. Rosberg in the Mercedes never went for a fast time, coming in only 7th on the day but racked up a second best 148 laps worth of data for the W06. Sergio Perez had a good day in the very reliable Force India, with 130 laps on only the cars second day of testing. Jenson Button had another slow day in the McLaren-Honda, only 30 laps and only a 1:25.327 on the super softs. Pastor Maldonado had an equally frustrating day for Lotus, crashing out after only 36 laps. The die has been cast and with pre season testing now closed, the teams will anxiously await FP1 from Albert Park for the season opening Australian Grand Prix. Image: Pirelli
