Red Bull Reveal Primary Livery for 2018 F1 Campaign

By Joey Barnes, Editor-in-Chief

Aston Martin Red Bull Racing have released the primary livery that will be seen during the 2018 Formula One season.

At the team’s launch of the RB14 last week, a creative and striking camo-style livery was seen on the car. However, it was deemed to be only for the launch viewing.

With preseason testing set today through Thursday, the colors revealed were that nearly identical to the common theme seen over previous seasons.

The Milton Keynes-based outfit released a statement that can be seen below.

— Today, at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, the RB14 will roll out of the garage for the start of testing, giving everyone a first look at our 2018 racing livery.

We launched the Aston Martin Red Bull Racing TAG Heuer RB14 last week in our special edition ‘Disruption’ livery, but the ‘DisruptoBull’ was always intended as a one-off.

This will be our third season using the matte design – though the underlying scheme can be traced all the way back to 2005 and our rookie season in Formula One when the RB1 raced with a livery that has made its mark. We’re still a relatively young team in F1 terms – but over the last 13 seasons our distinctive blue, yellow and red scheme has achieved a level of recognition of which we’re proud.
