After being initially leaked on Sunday, the 2016 Verizon IndyCar Series schedule was officially announced this morning. The season will once again kick off in St. Petersburg on March 13th, which has moved up two weeks due to the Easter holiday. Mexico City becomes the newest venue on the FIA World Endurance Championship’s schedule as the series announced its nine round schedule for 2016.
