Due to inclement weather and Hurricane Matthew, both the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series and the NASCAR Xfinity Series will run back-to-back races today. During a routine test, it was discovered by Tifft’s doctors that he had a low-grade giloma, a brain tumor. Tifft underwent surgery to remove the non-cancerous tumor. The Drive Sober 200 at Dover International Speedway looked as if it would be an up-hill battle with several NASCAR Sprint Cup Series regulars in the Xfinity Series race.
