Darren Cox, the man responsible for putting molding Nissan’s LMP1 program from scratch has left the Japanese company. Cox had been a part of Nissan since moving from its sister company, Renault, in 2005. Aside from the LMP1 program, Cox was involved in LMP2, GT3, and V8 Supercars programs for Nissan. The 2015 24 Hours of Le Mans turned out to be a historic homecoming for Porsche claiming a 1-2 victory. My pre-race predictions were somewhat less successful, let’s see how they turned out class by class. LMP1 Winner: I had predicted the No. 18 Porsche driven by Neel Jani, Marc Lieb and Romain Dumas.
