By Joey Barnes, Editor-in-Chief

Andretti Autosport revealed that U.S. Concrete will be the primary sponsor for Marco Andretti at six events in the Verizon IndyCar Series this season.

Entering his 13th season, Andretti will carry the colors on the No. 98 Honda beginning at Long Beach, followed by the Indianapolis Grand Prix, Indianapolis 500, Texas Motor Speedway, Pocono Raceway and the season finale at Sonoma Raceway.

“I’m really happy to welcome U.S. Concrete to the Verizon IndyCar Series and our Andretti family,” said Andretti Autosport CEO Michael Andretti, via a team release. “U.S. Concrete is a leading brand in its industry, as is the Andretti brand in IndyCar, so we are very excited about this partnership.”

Andrew Pinkerton, Marketing Communications Manager for U.S. Concrete, added his excitement in bringing his organization into Indy car racing.

“The legacy and strength of the Andretti team exemplifies the business units that make up the U.S. Concrete family and is an excellent platform to showcase what we offer,” said Pinkerton.

“Our partnership with Marco Andretti and Andretti Autosport is very exciting and we look forward to taking this partnership beyond the race track and integrating the Andretti’s winning formula into our business.”
