Unique Marketing Strategy Helps Little with Iowa Sponsors

By Seth Eggert, NASCAR Correspondent

After a marketing push from primary sponsor Skuttle Tight, Jesse Little and his family owned JJL Motorsports team will have 30 associate sponsors at Iowa Speedway.

Logos of the 30 companies will adorn the sides and the truck bed of the No. 97 Ford F-150 in the M&M’s 200 presented by Casey’s General Store on June 15. The team will appear with the truck at Ruff’s Wings and Sports Bar on June 11 to begin their partnership with the establishment. The full list can be viewed below.

In addition to the 30 new partnerships, longtime sponsors Parker FiberNet, Visit Kingsport, Grindstaff Rub, PFC Brakes, Penske Shocks and Dkota Investments will also be showcased in Little’s 28th career NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series start.

“The overwhelming support for Iowa is so much appreciated,” said Little. “Skuttle Tight has been a great partner of ours and for them to take the initiative and help drum up additional support so we can race Iowa and we’re hopeful in the coming weeks we can get more support for Gateway too.

“The effort by everyone though is just very humbling for our small race team. We have a lot to be excited about heading to Iowa it’s a track that I enjoy competing at, so I’m eager to get out there and bring everyone a good finish.”

In Little’s 27 previous starts, he has seven top-10 finishes, including two at the Newton, IA track. His best career finish, sixth, came in this race one year ago.

However, the 22-year-old has encountered bad luck so far in the 2019 season. In five starts, Little’s best finish is 13th at Texas Motor Speedway. Strong runs at Atlanta Motor Speedway and Dover International Speedway were cut short by accidents and mechanical problems.

The logos of the following companies will adorn the NASCAR Next alumnus’ Ford at Iowa:

BAM, BJ Electric, BK Plumbing, CDS, Fenstra Insurance, Fireside Hearth & Home, Floor To Ceiling, General Mailing, Hair Spys, Iowa Speedway, Johns Machine, KRA Speedway, Lakeland Broadcast, Luminaries LTD, Miller Sanitation, MKCH, Perkins Lumber, Print Masters, Project Build, Quick Signs, Quality Title, Ramaker, Ruffs Wings, Rule Tire & Auto, Thermoseal, Thurston Inc., Tony Iams Trucking, TPI Hospitality, and Uncommon and Willmar Forklift.
