Less than two weeks after announcing that they would be sponsoring Kevin Harvick’s four race foray into the NASCAR Xfinity Series in 2017, Hunt Brothers Pizza added another team to their sponsorship portfolio on Tuesday as they re-upped with JR Motorsports and Elliott Sadler for a two-race stint during the upcoming season.

Hunt Brothers, which has sponsored a car at JRM since 2014, will serve as the primary sponsor for the March 4th race at Atlanta Motor Speedway and the October 21st event at Kansas Speedway.

“Hunt Brothers Pizza has been a great partner of mine for many years and a great supporter of JRM,” Sadler said.  “As an owner of several Hunt Brothers Pizza locations, it’s awesome to sport their colors again in 2017. I live off of pepperoni pizza, so this is a natural fit for us to reunite once again on the track.”

“We are excited to continue our partnership with JRM while supporting Elliott in the Xfinity series,” said Keith Solsvig, vice president of marketing, Hunt Brothers Pizza.  “We value Elliott as a brand ambassador and partner, both on and off of the track and are grateful for his continued loyalty to Hunt Brothers Pizza.”

Sadler returns for his second season with JR Motorsports in 2017 after scoring three wins, 14 top-five finishes, 29 top-10 finishes, 123 laps led, and an average finish of 6.8 en route to his third career runner-up points finish last season. Along with the Hunt Brothers news, JRM also announced that Sadler and crew chief Kevin Meendering would be paired up once again on the No. 1 Chevrolet for the 2017 Xfinity Series campaign.
