Saturday’s Pacific Office Automation 147 marked the fourth and closing chapter for the NASCAR Xfinity Series drivers competing at Portland International Raceway.

Time will tell when the sport will return to the Pacific Northwest, but it delivered moments that will continue as retrospective memories. Most notably, the penultimate race of the regular season saw Connor Zilisch win once more after leading all but eight laps to score his eighth win of the season. Furthermore, he took the points lead away from Justin Allgaier and heads into Gateway with a 21-point advantage.

While the sun set down in Oregon, the fans saw a dominant performance which featured tremendous chaos towards the end that could’ve saw a different outcome. But Zilisch was able to leave Portland on top as this summer is near its conclusion and more action yet to unfold this season.

Without further ado, here is the latest installment of “Race In Pictures,” highlighting what I have captured during the race.
