Josh Williams Returns to ARCA Competition at Talladega

Our Motorsports announced today that they will field a second car for Josh Williams in Friday’s ARCA Racing Series General Tire 200 at Talladega Superspeedway.

Williams’ breakout season in ARCA came in 2016, when he won two races and recorded five top-five and 11 top-10 results. Williams ran just one ARCA race last season while also competing in seven NASCAR XFINITY Series events. The 24-year-old driver has made eight starts behind the wheel of the No. 90 Chevrolet thus far this season in the XFINITY Series.

“I’m excited to compete at Talladega with ARCA and to have the opportunity to be part of the Our Motorsports family with Andy (Seuss). It’s always nice knowing you’ll have a teammate at a restrictor-plate race,” said Williams.

Williams will team with Our Motorsports’ primary driver and NASCAR Modified standout, Andy Seuss. Seuss finished second last April at Talladega and will make his fourth start at the 2.66-mile superspeedway in ARCA competition on Friday.

“I think it’s great for our program,” Seuss said of having Williams on board. “Josh is a veteran of the series and brings knowledge and experience. We’re all looking forward to the weekend.”

Williams, through his own team JW Motorsports, prepared the car that he will pilot; while Seuss and his crew fine-tuned their entry out of the Our Motorsports stable.

Team owner, Chris Our, feels like the alliance with Williams can only make his team stronger.

“I feel that taking what Andy has brought to the table and adding Josh and his team to the mix, will just make us a stronger team overall,” said Our. “We are all looking at this weekend as a step towards the next level in the series. I’m excited to see how everything unfolds.”
