By Josh Farmer, IndyCar Reporter Simon Pagenaud claimed his third straight win of the season in today’s Angie’s List Grand Prix of Indianapolis. From the start of the race, Pagenaud was the man to beat as he pulled away from Charlie Kimball at the drop of the green flag and pulled away by as high as four and a half seconds over the course of the first stint. Pagenaud made his first pitstop on lap 12 which handed the lead over to Kimball, who pitted on lap 23. Kimball briefly held

We have the race pace which is encouraging, and the team is making progress, but the results are just not there for us and to be honest it can get a little frustrating. That said, we’re going to keep on fighting and at some point it will all come together for us. I really looked forward to going to Long Beach. It’s one of my favorite places and races.

Allow me to share some of my observations from the weekend. 1 ) Frenchy Can Drive Yes, I know that some racing purists hate this movie, but Talladega Nights ranks as one of my guilty pleasures, and I have probably watched this film a dozen times. Comparisons between Simon Pagenaud and the Jean Girard character have been abundant since Pagenaud

I look forward to sharing the experience of my first full-time Verizon IndyCar Series season with all of you this year. We’re only two races into the season but it’s been very busy with testing, racing and promotional appearances, but I wouldn’t trade it for the world. I love what I do and I love every part of it. So far the season has been very much up and down. We struggled in practice and qualifying

He finished a lap down in 12th place. A result that perhaps fell somewhat short of expectations, but one that only confirms the quality of Rossi’s talent as a newcomer to IndyCar. A difficult qualifying session saw him struggle on Saturday and start today’s race back
