Porsche extends LMP1 program

Porsche has decided to extend its commitment in the LMP1 category of the World Endurance Championship until the end of the 2018 season. The German manufacturer grabbed its 17th victory in the 24 Hours of Le Mans and originally planned to go until the end of 2016, but with success early in its 919 Hybrid program they will now add two more seasons to its current commitment.
