Peters will drive the No. 92 Advance Auto Parts Ford Fusion for Ricky Benton Racing in the GEICO 500 at the 2.66-mile Tri-Oval. Peters is no stranger to restrictor plate racing. The Danville, VA native has back-to-back NASCAR Camping World Truck Series wins at Talladega in 2014 and 2015. The Alpha Energy Solutions 250 at Martinsville Speedway was the first NASCAR Camping World Truck Series start for Peters since the season finale at Homestead-Miami Speedway last year. Peters finished seventh in the No. 92 BTS Tire & Wheel Ford F-150 after a relatively quiet race for the Providence, NC-native.
