Sage Karam out at Chip Ganassi Racing

By Josh Farmer, Journalist Sage Karam’s run at Chip Ganassi Racing is reportedly over as Karam’s management has not renewed his contract with the team. According to Racer, there have been issues finding money to keep Karam in a seat and a deal for 2016 was not struck. Sage Karam released from hospital

IndyCar has released a statement on the condition of rookie Sage Karam, who was transported via ground after crashing out of the ABC Supply 500 at Pocono Raceway. Karam was leading with 20 laps to go when the car and hit the wall on the exit of Turn 1, showering the track with debris, with a piece striking Justin Wilson’s helmet in the same accident.
