Ryan Briscoe will return to the cockpit of the #5 Arrow Electronics Honda for this weekend’s Firestone 600 at Texas Motor Speedway.
Briscoe finished 12th at the Indianapolis 500 when he was initially tapped to fill in for the injured James Hinchcliffe. He has one win (2010) in eight starts at TMS and won the pole in 2009.
Conor Daly filled in for SPM last weekend in Detroit and finished 6th in the second race of the weekend. It is known that Daly is likely to return for Toronto.
Briscoe will then leave for Le Mans to chase his third endurance race win of the season at the 24 Hours classic.
