But it won’t be in the familiar role of working with a team, instead he will take up the role of Sporting Director. The news, broken by esteemed journalist James Allen is very interesting; Brawn will not replace Bernie Ecclestone, nor have any dealings with the commercial aspect of the sport. Red Bull Racing’s Max Verstappen set the fastest time of final practice for the Mexican Grand Prix, finishing nine hundredths of a second ahead of Mercedes’ Lewis Hamilton, with Daniel Ricciardo third in the second Red Bull. Farmer: Where Does Servia Fit?

By Josh Farmer, IndyCar Reporter Oriol Servia has reportedly raised half the funding for a Verizon IndyCar Series drive in 2017. The question is where does he fit in at? While Servia only has one win to his credit (Montreal, 2005), the 42-year-old Spaniard has built up a reputation of being a solid, team playing driver that you end up getting more than you paid for. He managed to finish second in the 2005 Champ Car World Series championship after replacing the injured Bruno Junqueira at Newman Haas racing threeRead More
