By David Morgan, NASCAR Contributor In a shock to the NASCAR world, Hendrick Motorsports announced on Thursday that Dale Earnhardt, Jr. would miss Sunday’s race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway after suffering from concussion-like symptoms in the recent weeks. The 18-year old Ferrucci, who hails from Woodbury, Connecticut, signed on with the American-based F1 team earlier this season, as he continues a full season in GP3 with the DAMS organization.
