Lewis Hamilton pipped team mate Nico Rosberg at the Shanghai International Circuit to claim pole for tomorrow’s grand prix by mere thousandths of a second. Lewis Hamilton continued his perfect weekend by dominating the Australian grand prix, leading every lap en route to his 7th victory in 8 races. For Hamilton it was a straightforward lights to flag victory with Nico Rosberg perpetually in tow, but behind the silver arrows, chaos and attrition ruled the roost. Lewis Hamilton cake walked to a dominant pole in Australia, taking the top spot on the grid by beating his team mate by over 6/10ths of a second and third place man Felipe Massa by nearly a second and a half.
