By David Morgan, Associate Editor Leavine Family Racing will end its 10-year run in the NASCAR Cup Series at the conclusion of the 2020 season, team owner Bob Leavine said in a statement released on Tuesday. Citing the impact the COVID-19 pandemic has taken on his team, Leavine noted that the organization would not be in a position to compete after this season, leading to the sale of the No. 95 team to a new owner and his exit from the sport when the final checkered flag falls at season’s end.
Read More By Luis Torres, Staff Writer A day removed from capturing his 33rd career NASCAR Cup Series victory at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, Brad Keselowski will stay with Team Penske for a 12th straight full season in 2021. Monday’s announcement confirmed the 2012 Cup champion will still be in the No. 2 Ford Mustang for at least one more season, ending the heavily publicized debate of whether or not Keselowski will stay or pursue a new career path by running for another race team. Team owner Roger Penske is pleased to keep

Keselowski, 36, led a race best 184 of the 301 laps around the “Magic Mile” and held off runner-up Denny Hamlin by 1.647-seconds to hoist
Read More By David Morgan, Associate Editor The 2020 NASCAR Cup Series season has been a nightmare for Kyle Busch and didn’t get any better in Sunday’s Foxwoods Resort Casino 301 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. Coming into the race with a season-long winless streak that he desperately would like to break, Busch started the day in fifth-place and was just biding his time early on when things went awry just 15 laps into the 301-lap race. Heading into Turn 3, Busch’s No. 18 car blew a tire, sending him hard into the
Read More By David Morgan, Associate Editor After a rare Thursday night race last weekend at Kansas, it’s back to regularly scheduled programming as the NASCAR Cup Series heads to New Hampshire Motor Speedway for Sunday’s running of the Foxwoods Resort Casino 301. First joining the Cup Series circuit in 1993, the 1.058-mile oval that has progressively banked turns from two to seven degrees is one of the more difficult tracks on the schedule as the flat nature of the track makes track position key with passing at a premium. As has been
Read More By David Morgan, Associate Editor There’s a new wrinkle to next month’s NASCAR Cup Series race at the Daytona International Speedway road course in the form of a chicane that will alter the layout for the course’s debut race. The August 16 event was originally scheduled to run on the same layout as the Rolex 24 at Daytona, NASCAR and track officials elected to put in the new chicane between the exit of Turn 4 and the tri-oval, much like what is in place at the Charlotte ROVAL, in an effort

Dubbed “Sliced Bread” as he made his way up the ranks, Logano got the nod to replace Tony Stewart behind the wheel of the No. 20 Joe Gibbs Racing entry when Stewart started driving for himself at Stewart-Haas Racing. The Middletown, Connecticut native had

It was third time’s a charm as the COVID-19 pandemic postponed an initial test with Arrow McLaren SP at Barber Motorsports Park back in March. Even earlier this month, Johnson was supposed to test with Ganassi following the “Indy Crossover” before testing positive for COVID-19, forcing him to miss his first NASCAR Cup race. On his way to the
