By Toby Christie, NASCAR Editor It’s been an unexpected break out year so far for Blake Koch and the newly formed Kaulig Racing team. Koch, who spent his first five seasons with under funded organizations, has scored both of his career NASCAR Xfinity Series top-10 finishes this season, one of which was recorded this past weekend at Richmond International Raceway when he finished a career-best eighth. It’s been a refreshing year to say the least, and one that many in the industry are happy to see from the 30-year-old driver.

Earnhardt held off Ty Dillon by .266 seconds in a main event that ran nine laps past its scheduled distance of 140 laps, but Dillon collected the $100,000 Dash 4 Cash bonus available to the two highest finishes among XFINITY

The 19-year-old has already conquered the Camping World Truck Series, winning the championship last season. Jones, a Joe Gibbs Racing development driver, also impressed last year in select races in relief of an injured Kyle Busch, most notably at Kansas Speedway, where he made his first career start and drove all the way up into the top-five before crashing out midway through. So, it only seems natural that Jones has been appointed

In fact, Busch has won four out of the last five races in the Xfinity Series this year, and has won seven out of the last 10 Xfinity Series races at Bristol in which he competed. 10 percent of Busch’s Xfinity Series wins have come at The World’s Fastest Half-Mile. Though the XFINITY Dash 4 Cash remains an integral part of the series, the conduct of the competition is brand new, and as Auton explained, many of the ideas for the new format came from the garage itself, particularly when it comes

With a dominating victory from the pole in the O’Reilly Auto Parts 300 at Texas Motor Speedway, Busch won for the fourth time in five XFINITY starts this year. His only loss in that stretch was a second-place run after a late blown tire robbed him of victory in his last outing at Auto Club

Burton started the race from the 12th position, and felt great about his car heading into the race. Once the race started it was clear that he was more of a 15th-20th place car. Those Chase berth hopes took a hit on lap 144,
