Force India Reveals Car for 2017 F1 Campaign

By Joey Barnes, Editor-in-Chief

Force India became the fourth team to showcase their 2017 car, revealing the VJM10 during an online presentation at Silverstone.

The silver and black liver has a hint of orange streaking from the nose down to the back of the side pods, with similar features to recently revealed challengers Williams, Sauber and Renault.

The most notable difference comes with the front wing, which features a slit ‘thumb-nose.’ The backend of the VJM10 also sees an extended shark fin.

The car was unveiled by Sergio Perez and newcomer Esteban Ocon, whom replaces recent Renault hire Nico Hulkenberg.

Vijay Mallya, team principal at Force India, couldn’t contain his excitement of the team’s newest creation.

“I can’t remember being more excited ahead of a new season,” said Mallya in a team release. “The VJM10 looks aggressive and purposeful, and is the result of a huge effort behind the scenes over the last twelve months. We have big hopes for this car, which looks stunning in its new livery.”
