A sold out crowd at Texas Motor Speedway witnessed a quite memorable Würth 400 this past Sunday where chaos, pit strategy and clean air were the name of the game.

Carson Hocevar led the 38-car field to green and quickly pulled away, but only to lose ground in time where Christopher Bell and Denny Hamlin then took over. Bell’s day came to an end after being collected by a spinning Todd Gilliland while leading.

From there, other key players fell by the wayside, including Ty Gibbs, Joey Logano and Kyle Larson. Meanwhile, drivers such as Erik Jones and Corey Heim made their presence known as they controlled the race at one point. But in the end, it was Chase Elliott who set the pace throughout the 267-lap race and held off Hamlin to score his second Texas win and second of the season.

Behind Elliott, drama ensued between Kyle Busch and John Hunter Nemechek that had the NASCAR world talking after their late-race tangle. Thus, capping off a compelling Cup race in “The Lone Star Race.”

Without further ado, here’s some of my favorite shots from Sunday’s race in the latest installment of “In Pictures.”
