FOX Sports Announces 2017 ARCA Racing Series Broadcast Schedule

FOX Sports Media Group and ARCA Racing Series officials announced the broadcast schedule for the 2017 season which once again includes 10 of the races on the 20-race schedule. FOX Sports coverage will kick-off with the season-opener at Daytona in February and conclude with the season finale at Kansas in October.

The complete broadcast schedule for FOX Sports:

  • Daytona International Speedway – February 18
  • Talladega Superspeedway – May 5
  • Toledo Speedway – May 21
  • Pocono Raceway – June 9
  • Michigan International Speedway – June 16
  • Lucas Oil Raceway – July 21
  • Pocono Raceway – July 28
  • Chicagoland Speedway – September 14
  • Kentucky Speedway – September 22
  • Kansas Speedway – October 20

Nine of the 10 races will be carried on FS1, which is currently available in 85.2 million homes. The finale as Kansas is slated to air on FS2, but it could shift to FS1 depending on the Major League Baseball postseason.

ARCA’s relationship with the FOX Sports family of networks dates back to April 20, 1997 and has included telecasts of 238 races over the course of 20 consecutive years of coverage.

“FOX Sports and the ARCA Racing Series have enjoyed a very long history together and their season opener from Daytona helps kick off the 2017 stock car racing season,” said Josh Oakley, FOX Sports executive director, acquisitions & programming. “The ARCA Racing Series is part of the most-watched motorsports lineup in television, as FOX Sports is home to NASCAR, the NHRA, AMA Supercross, Monster Jam, the FIA Formula E Championship, the FIA World Endurance Championship, the United SportsCar Championship and several other series.”

Expect an announcement concerning the broadcast schedule for the remainder of the ARCA Racing Series schedule in the coming weeks.
