IMS reveals logo for 100th Indy 500

INDIANAPOLIS – The Indianapolis Motor Speedway revealed its new logo for its highly anticipated 100th Indianapolis 500 that will be run on May 29, 2016.

“Each year we design a new logo for the Indianapolis 500, but this year’s effort has been given special consideration,” said Mark Miles, CEO of Hulman & Co. “The logo for the 100th Indianapolis 500 recognizes both our illustrious past and an even brighter future.”

Recently it was also announced that next year’s the Grand Prix of Indianapolis will be held on May 14, 2016.

The Indianapolis 500 will start one week later next year in comparison to this year, as the drivers and teams are set to run on the 2.5-mile track this Sunday, May 24, 2015.
