Ligier JSP3 sales take off for new LMP3 class

Onroak Automotive’s successful relaunch of the historic Ligier name into top flight sports car racing continues evolving. After the LM P2 stalwart, JSP2 charmed the P2 ranks, the team set out to build a junior model for the ACO’s new LM P3 category.

Dubbed the JSP3 the new car is powered by Nissan and is experiencing strong sales ahead of its competition debut. French teams Graff and Extreme Limite were the first to buy the French car, followed by Italian outfit Eurointernational. Latest to join the growing que is British team owner Steve Donovan has joined the ranks, purchasing a new JSP3 for competition in the Michelin VdeV endurance series as well as the European Le Mans Series.

With the LM P3 category to play a major role in the European and Asian Le Mans Series and its potential role as a future replacement for the Prototype Challenge class in North America’s Tudor Championship, Onroak will be busy pumping out as many Ligiers as they can.
