Mercedes driver Nico Rosberg has been reprimanded by the stewards for entering the pitlane incorrectly in FP1 of the Spanish Grand Prix.
In the final hour of FP1, Rosberg was attempting to enter the pits when he ran across the white line beyond the bollard on entry to the pitlane.
It is the first reprimand of the season for the German. The stewards have insisted that other drivers were warned about the issue for the rest of the weekend.
Rosberg was fastest in FP1, but fell to third overall in FP2 behind teammate Lewis Hamilton and Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel.
