The 44-year-old wrapped up his fourth straight year with RLL Racing, finishing 11th in the NTT IndyCar Series standings this season. Sato scored four wins from 2018-2020, including the 104th Indy 500 which marked RLL Racing’s first 500 win since Buddy Rice in 2004. Including Sato’s previous tenure in 2012, he scored sixRead More

The first leg of the West Coast Swing begins at Portland International Raceway where the news continue to be endless. Among the 27-car field, there’ll be another debutant in American Open Wheel Racing, driving for a team that’s making its series return. That being former Formula 2 driver Callum Ilott, who’ll drive for the rebrandedRead More

By David Morgan, Associate Editor Saturday night’s running of the Bommarito Automotive Group 500 at World Wide Technology Raceway at Gateway got off to an inauspicious start when the first incident of the night occurred between Ed Jones and Graham Rahal just two laps into the race. Heading into Turn 1, with Jones running the low line and Rahal in the next groove up, Jones’ No. 18 Honda washed up the track into Rahal, causing the two to spin into the outside wall and bringing their nights to an early end.Read More
By Luis Torres, Staff Writer There’s a phrase known as “making a good first impression.” Alpine Academy racer Christian Lundgaard may be 12th in the Formula 2 standings, but has already wowed people in the NTT IndyCar Series. In just a single day at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course, Lundgaard was blistering fast. Right out of the gate, the No. 45 Rahal Letterman Lanigan Honda Honda was seventh-fastest in practice. The Danish racer would then back it up with an even more impressive fourth-place qualifying spot for Saturday’s BigRead More
By Luis Torres, Staff Writer A few days removed from the most chaotic IndyCar race of the season, the series goes from the vibrant “Music City” and are “Back Home Again.” However, there’s a bit of a somber tone as Bob Jenkins, one of the iconic voices of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, passed away Monday. Truly a one of a kind broadcaster that’ll be sorely missed. Especially, during “The Brickyard” weekend as both INDYCAR and NASCAR share the IMS Road Course. Naturally, having both sanctioning bodies can create opportunities forRead More
By David Morgan, Associate Editor The 105th running of the Indianapolis 500 ended with only two cautions, both of which came as a result of issues on pit road. Rahal had come to the attention of his Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing crew for his third pit stop of the day, but the crew failed to get the left rear tire fully secureRead More

Spencer Pigot on the other hand, had a noble run but his day was cut short after a violent Turn 4 crash. It ended the race, securing the other RLL competitors track positions.
