The Verizon IndyCar Series announced that Derrick Walker, president for competition and operations, will leave his post following the season ending Go Pro Grand Prix of Sonoma. Walker took the job with IndyCar in June of 2013 and has been the pinpoint of IndyCar’s introduction of aero kits as well as race control technology upgrades.
