By Luis Torres, Staff Writer Ever wonder how NASCAR would either benefit or become a detriment if they have a graduate level system to where performance and actions defines a competitor’s future in the sport? That’s what I got from Brad Keselowski’s comments following Sunday’s O’Reilly Auto Parts 500 at Texas Motor Speedway. Following a ninth-place finish, Keselowski had a lot to say about NASCAR needing to police drivers, making it pretty obvious he was referring to Quin Houff, on whether they’re capable of competing in the sport’s highest level. The

A top-five result brought much needed confidence for the 30-year-old as he finished outside the top-10 in five out of the last six races. “Overall, I’m proud of what the Shell/Pennzoil Ford team did today, scoring a second-place in the second stage and a third in the finish,” said Logano, who led 22
Read More By Luis Torres, Staff Writer A multi-car crash on the 219th lap of Sunday’s O’Reilly Auto Parts 500 at Texas Motor Speedway brought out the 14th red flag this season. The race had just restarted a lap before with Brad Keselowski, who was running on a two-tire strategy, leading the way. Things got wild once his Team Penske teammates Ryan Blaney and Joey Logano came into the picture. Keselowski and Blaney had a tremendous battle for the lead, but Blaney got very loose in Turn 3, giving Keselowski the clear advantage.
Read More By Luis Torres, Staff Writer Will Power may have finished second during Saturday’s Iowa INDYCAR 250 at Iowa Speedway, but the biggest victory may have been the fact it was for once a normal outing. Following Friday night’s disastrous exit where his left front wheel wasn’t fully installed that resulted in a Turn 4 crash, Power didn’t have to worry about any catastrophic problems that’s come to define the past few NTT IndyCar Series campaigns, including this year. While his Team Penske teammate Josef Newgarden put on an absolute clinic at
Read More By INDYCAR NEWTON, Iowa – Defending NTT INDYCAR SERIES champion Josef Newgarden proved Iowa Speedway might just be his best racetrack on the schedule as he put on a dominating performance Saturday night to win Race 2 of the Iowa INDYCAR 250s Doubleheader. Newgarden became the first INDYCAR driver to win at Iowa Speedway from the pole, easily driving to his first win of the season and 15th of his career in the No. 1 Hitachi Team Penske Chevrolet. It’s the first time Newgarden has won a race since capturing last

The Team Penske driver Cindric, who swept a doubleheader weekend at Kentucky Speedway last week, originally finished less than a second behind Busch, but the finishing order was corrected to show Cindric the winner and Xfinity Series championship leader Chase Briscoe the race runner-up. Under very hot and windy conditions, it was two-time Iowa winner Josef Newgarden who set the fastest pace at 170.199 mph. Behind Newgarden was his Team Penske teammate Simon Pagenaud, Scott Dixon, Tony Kanaan and rounding out the top-five was Takuma Sato. The defending INDYCAR champion will have

INDYCAR Race Control had waved off the restart just before Arrow McLaren SP’s Pato O’Ward could take off as the race leader. Further behind is where things got chaotic as drivers began bunching up at the entrance in Turn 4. Both drivers cleared from the medical center after the @ColtonHerta @rinusveekay incident.#INDYCAR // #IOWA250S pic.twitter.com/ODiBbwY4xi — NTT

Several tried, but nobody could dethrone Daly and as soon the last driver to qualify (Scott Dixon) couldn’t pull it off, nervousness quickly turned into jubilation as the NTT P1 Pole Award for tonight’s Iowa INDYCAR 250 at
