Dale Coyne Racing announced today that Rodolfo Gonzalez and Tristan Vautier will drive the #18 and the #19 cars for this weekend’s Chevrolet Duel in Detroit.
Gonzalez, will replace Carlos Huertas once again as the Columbian is still sidelined with an apparent inner ear infection. Gonzalez ran the #18 car at Barber Motorsports Park and finished in 20th place.
Vautier will pilot the #19 car after racing the #18 at the Indianapolis 500 last weekend. The #19 car has been raced by Francesco Dracone for the first 5 races. The Frenchman races in the Blancepain Endurance Series full time.
On another note, injured DCR crewman Daniel Jang has been released from the hospital and has returned to his home in Chicago for rehabilitation.
