WATCH: Charlie Whiting on Life as F1’s Race Director

The 2018 Formula 1 season readies for their next race this weekend with the Canadian Grand Prix. However, before the fans watch in awe as their favorite drivers take to the 2.709-mile circuit known as Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, get to know the man behind the scenes in FIA Race Director Charlie Whiting. The 66-year-old has seen the evolution of the sport from racing, but more importantly safety.
