When Landon Cassill competes in the Monster Energy All-Star Race weekend and Coca-Cola 600 race weekend, he will have a new sponsor onboard. Dairi-O, a North Carolina restaurant chain, will adorn his StarCom Racing No. 00 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1. This will be Dairi-O’s first foray into the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series.

Cassill has 15 career starts at Charlotte Motor Speedway with two top-20 finishes. His best Charlotte finish came in 2012 when he finished 18thdriving for BK Racing. Cassill also has seven Monster Energy Open appearances with a best finish of eighth in 2016. The Cedar Rapids, IA native has never qualified for the Monster Energy All-Star race.

“I love bringing new sponsors to our sport. StarCom Racing has a great energy, and it’s attracting new companies,” said Cassill “Not to mention, my guys are going to love the delicious food from Dairi-O!”

The new sponsorship is a boost for StarCom Racing. The organization is in its first full season at NASCAR’s highest level, and has competed in just 14 events. Cassill earned the team’s best result to date at Bristol Motor Speedway earlier this year, finishing 20th, two laps down. He is also one of just four drivers to drive one of the teams’ cars.

“We’re proud to partner with Landon and StarCom Racing in Charlotte this year. Just like NASCAR, we were born in North Carolina and are passionate about speed and precision when serving fresh food to our customers,” said Jeff Speaks, President & CEO of Dairi-O Restaurants “It’s exciting for our brand to be able to connect with our customers through NASCAR and a high-performing team like StarCom Racing.”

With the team leasing a Charter from Richard Childress Racing, the Coca-Cola 600 will be Cassill’s 266thstart in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series. Entering this weekend’s KC Masterpiece 400 at Kansas Speedway, the 28-year-old driver has 264 Premier Series starts with one top-five finish.
