For the first time since the 2016 season finale at Homestead-Miami Speedway, Jesse Little will return with JJL Motorsports to the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series at Dover International Speedway for the Bar Harbor 200.
New alliances with both Gaunt Brothers Racing and Triad Racing Technologies are making JJL Motorsports’ Dover effort possible. Little will also have support from long-time partner Performance Friction Brakes.
Little has nine previous starts in the Truck Series including his 2015 debut that came at Dover. He ran well early before being caught up in a multi-truck accident. Little’s best finish is a 14th place finish at Homestead in 2015.
Little also has 48 career start in the NASCAR K&N Pro East Series where he has two victories, 14 top fives, 23 Top 10s, and three pole positions. His best finish in the East Series Championship Points standings was sixth in 2014.
In five years of NASCAR K&N Pro East Series competition Little has five starts at Dover with a best finish of second at the 1-mile track.
In the NASCAR K&N Pro West Series Little has four career starts with four top fives and four Top 10s.
Little was grateful for the support that his team is receiving,
“This is going to be a great weekend for us and we’re grateful for the JJL Motorsports team alliance we have with Triad Racing Technologies and Gaunt Brothers Racing; as well the support from Performance Friction Brakes. Having all of them supporting what we do is an awesome show of faith in what we’re doing with our organization. We’re going into Dover ready to compete and bring home a strong finish for our team and fans.”
After Dover, the next Truck race on Little’s and JJL Motorsports’ schedule is Iowa Speedway on June 23.
For now, Little and his JJL Motorsports team will focus on Friday’s race at Dover where they hope to put a successful race together.
