No. 7 Audi excluded from Silverstone

By Joey Barnes, Editor-in-Chief Just hours after winning the opening round of the World Endurance Championship on Sunday, the Six Hours of Silverstone, the race-winning No. 7 Audi R18 driven by Andre Lotterer, Benoit Treluyer and Marcel Fassler, was excluded following a post-race technical infraction. Romain Dumas and Marc Lieb split qualifying duties in the No. 18 Porsche 919 Hybrid to best teammates Mark Webber and Timo Bernhard en route to the pole for the Six Hours of Nurburgring. Lotterer Wants WEC to Have More Races

After a successful weekend at the Circuit of the Americas where his team grabbed overall victory, Audi Sport Team Joest driver Andre Lotterer admitted that he wants to see more races on the World Endurance Championship schedule.
