Only 33 cars have been entered filled with 17 Hondas and 16 Chevrolet. Six former winners of the race are entered: Juan Pablo Montoya, Helio Castroneves, Buddy Lazier, Scott Dixon, Ryan Hunter-Reay and Tony Kanaan.
