Travis Kvapil will team up with Mark Beaver and Beaver Motorsports for the third straight season in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. MAKE Motorsports was recently rebranded as Beaver Motorsports. After two partial seasons for Kvapil as the primary driver for Beaver Motorsports, 2017 will be a full-time effort.
Kvapil will pilot the No. 50 Chevrolet Silverado at Daytona International Speedway in the NextEra Energy Solutions 250 with sponsorship from the Florida Lottery.
Beaver Motorsports has been competing in both the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series and NASCAR Xfinity Series since 2010 with a primary focus in the Truck Series.
Team owner Beaver was excited to look forward to the 2017 Truck Series season, “We are excited for Daytona with Travis and the Florida Lottery. There are a lot of good things happening right now and with the great people working at Beaver Motorsports, I’m looking forward to a great season in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series.”
Kvapil is the 2003 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Champion and has nine victories to his credit. In 190 career starts, he has 52 top fives, 86 Top 10s, and four pole positions. Last season, Kvapil earned Beaver Motorsports their first top five finish at Daytona when he finished fifth.
Kvapil also has 13 career starts in the Xfinity Series and 271 career starts in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series where he has eight Top 10s, and one pole position.
Kvapil was excited about the opportunity he has at Daytona, “I can’t wait to be back on the track at Daytona for Beaver Motorsports and the Florida Lottery. I can’t thank the Florida Lottery enough for being part of the team at Daytona. Daytona is always fun and every team out there has a chance to win. It is cool to see how well a small team with an even smaller budget can run well at the super speedways.”
Both Kvapil and Beaver Motorsports will now head to Daytona where they hope to pull off the upset.
