After locking out the front row in qualifying, the Porsche Team went 1-2 at the Six Hours of Nurburgring with No. 17 919 Hybrid driven by Mark Webber, Brendon Hartley and Timo Bernhard claiming their maiden victory. Porsche extends LMP1 program

Porsche has decided to extend its commitment in the LMP1 category of the World Endurance Championship until the end of the 2018 season. Sage Karam released from hospital

IndyCar has released a statement on the condition of rookie Sage Karam, who was transported via ground after crashing out of the ABC Supply 500 at Pocono Raceway. Karam was leading with 20 laps to go when the car and hit the wall on the exit of Turn 1, showering the track with debris, with a piece striking Justin Wilson’s helmet in the same accident. The FIA has decided to remove a new curb at Eau Rouge prior to qualifying for the Belgian Grand Prix.
