One of the underfunded teams in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, RSS Racing, has picked up a two-race sponsorship. Ryan Sieg’s No. 39 Chevrolet Camaro SS will have Ionomy Studios as his primary sponsor at Daytona International Speedway on Friday, July 6, and Darlington Raceway on Saturday, September 1.
Sieg has 140 starts in the NASCAR Xfinity Series with three top-fives and seven top-10s. His best finish in the final Championship Points Standings was ninth in 2016, the first year in which the Xfinity Series utilized NASCAR’s Playoff system.
Sieg has nine starts at “The World Center of Racing” in Daytona with a best finish of third in 2014 and 2016. At the “Track too Tough to Tame,” Darlington, he has four starts with a best finish of 15th in 2016.
“I’m thrilled to have Ionomy join us for two races in 2018. They’re a great and innovative team at the leading edge of digital entertainment and I’m excited to promote them at Daytona and Darlington.” commented Sieg. “Plus, this is one of the best paint schemes I have ever driven. Just wait ’til you see it on the track.”
As part of the partnership, Ionomy Studios will launch a new game, Offroad Heat, which will be featured on Sieg’s Chevrolet. Ionomy Studios will be a full-time associate sponsor for Sieg and RSS Racing for the remainder of the season.
Ionomy Studios is changing the way games are made and played. Ionomy Studios makes gameplay more fun and more rewarding by designing games that leverage the ION digital currency ecosystem.
In addition to his starts in the Xfinity Series, Sieg has 106 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series starts and five Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series starts. In the Truck Series, Sieg has seven top-10 finishes, including one at Daytona.
For now, Sieg and his RSS Racing team will focus on this Saturday’s Auto Club 300 at Auto Club Speedway.
